MILWAUKEE (WISN/CNN) - Milwaukee police said when they tried to stop a car stolen by a group of teens, the 15-year-old driver intentionally rammed them.

Neighbors in the residential area where it happened said they're glad authorities caught the kids.

"The police could have done anything at that point," said Breona Mallett, a resident of the area. "You know, they are in harm, you're destructing their property - anything could have happened to those kids."

Mallett heard the racket and was concerned for her baby daughter.

"I never was aware of kids finding thrill into stealing cars and harming other people," said Mallett. "But now, I guess in this day and age and this generation, that's what they call as 'fun.'"

Police said they were just trying to stop a stolen car.

"These kids need to stop what they're doing," said Annie Watson, a neighbor to Mallett. "But I'm glad they got them."

Police arrested all four individuals in the car and said they are bringing the case to the district attorney's office.
