Teen battling heart condition gets dream car

WOODLAND, CA (KTXL/CNN) - A California teenager battling a life-threatening heart condition received the dream of a lifetime thanks to the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

Jonas Brit, 17,  now has one of the coolest cars in town.

"I got the last year of it, the 2003,” said Brit who received a souped-up Accra C-11 exactly to his specifications. “I'm pretty excited about that."

Brit got his new wheels, and a sound system to go with all those fancy finishes and perfect paint job.

"Jonas' reaction when we unveiled that car was priceless," said Nathan Wright, manager at Les Schwa Tire Center.

The tire shop partnered with the Make-a-Wish Foundation, delivering once again on their joy-giving mission.

"It was so exciting to see his face, something happy and joyful in his life again. Because he's been through quite a lot," said President and CEO of Make-A-Wish Foundation Jennifer Stool.

Brit can now leave that struggle in the rear view mirror at least for a little while.

He can just enjoy the ride ahead.
