LINCOLN COUNTY, GA (CNN) - A woman accused of leaking top-secret government information to an online news site will remain in jail for now.
A U.S. magistrate judge denied bond to Reality Winner on Thursday. Winner was a linguist in the U.S. Air Force from 2010 to 2016.
The 25-year-old woman is charged with leaking information regarding a 2016 Russian military intelligence cyberattack to the online site, the Intercept.
Winner has been in jail since her arrest in May. Her lawyers argued that she should be granted bond.
But on Thursday the judge disagreed, saying Winner was a flight risk.
