MISSION, TX (KGBT/CNN) - Officials in Texas arrested a suspected drug runner after he crashed a car into the Rio Grande River on Friday. Police say the suspect drove off a boat launch at an RV park.
The drop into the river from that launch is 50 feet. Authorities had to call a dive team to help get the vehicle out of the water.
Fire department and drug enforcement officials were also on the scene. After the car was pulled from the river, a bundle of marijuana was found inside, KGBT reported. A man and a woman are facing drug and evading police charges, the report added.
