BOSTON, MA (WBZ/CNN) - Students at Boston College walked out of class Wednesday, angered by what they said was lack of action after racist incidents on campus.

Dozens of students participated in the protest.

Just before noon, they walked out of class and gathered for an informal protest, unfurling banners and chanting “black lives matter."

They said school administrators did nothing after a couple of racist events.

Recently, two posters were defaced to read "black lives don't matter."

There is also a Snapchat image containing racial slurs that students are passing around.

A solidarity rally will be held at Boston College on Friday.
