(RNN) - A tribute concert to Aretha Franklin is being held in Detroit on Thursday night ahead of her funeral on Friday.
The concert will feature performances from a number of big-name acts.
According to The Detroit Free Press, it will be segmented into four parts: a jazz and blues tribute, a gospel tribute, an R&B tribute and a final "all-star" tribute.
It will stream online at the website of WDIV in Detroit, as well as in other outlets.
Demand for the concert was high. According to the The Free Press, tickets sold out in six minutes. It is being held at Detroit's Chene Park.
According to WDIV, the all-star tribute portion of the show will include performance by a number of big acts including Regina Belle, Keith Washington and The Four Tops.
Director Tyler Perry will also be on hand, and actress Jenifer Lewis will perform an original song written for Franklin.
All of the acts on hand will join together to perform "R.E.S.P.E.C.T." for the concert's finale.
The three-hour show will run from 7 p.m. ET to 10 p.m.
The Queen of Soul will be laid to rest on Friday at the Greater Grace Temple in Detroit.
