RNN) – The latest SpaceX launch created some dramatic images in the night sky in California on Friday. Some on Twitter mused about aliens, but the liftoff appeared to be another success for SpaceX.
The liftoff took place just after sunset, helping to produce some curious gazes up into the sky after the launch from Vandenberg Air Force Base. Twitter was active with users wondering what created the beautiful scenes.

The Falcon 9 launch of Iridium-4 was the last for SpaceX in 2017.
SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket will deliver 10 satellites to low-Earth orbit for Iridium, a global leader in mobile voice and data satellite communications, SpaceX said in a release.
