(RNN) – Several tourists have been injured after gunfire at a resort in the Philippines according to reports. Resorts World Manila is where the shooting took place just after midnight local time.
It’s close by the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Terminal 3, according to The Sun.
Other news outlets have reported explosions and gunfire. The U.S. State Department's bureau in the Philippines has issued a warning to stay away from the area.

CNN reported large police presence and fire trucks on the scene. SWAT teams have been deployed. People have been taken away in ambulances.
The attackers have not been identified, but the Philippines have been troubled by terrorism. Government forces are battling ISIS-affiliated soldiers for control of the city of Marawi, There are early reports of multiple gunmen, however, witnesses told CNN the shooter had covered his face.
A British filmmaker tweeted photos that show smoke around buildings. The building is burning, according to witnesses. An Israeli tweeted video of people running in a panic.
