SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV/CNN) – At least one person is dead after a shooting near the University of Utah Monday night, as police search for the shooter.
Authorities advised the public “shelter in place” following a report of shots fired around 9:30 p.m. MT. The campus was placed on lockdown.
Police were still searching for the suspect an hour after the shooting. They did not call the incident an active shooter situation.
