BAKERSFIELD, CA (KGET/CNN) - It’s rare, but it happens. Three separate twins were born at the same hospital, on the same day.
Four baby boys and two baby girls came into the world at Memorial Hospital in Bakersfield on Wednesday.
One new dad says life just got real, really quick. "Well I knew we were having twins, but you don't believe it until you see it,” Erik Lopez said. “It's a blessing. That's the first thing that comes to a parent’s mind when they're telling you 'hey what do you want?' It doesn't matter as long as they're healthy."
All six babies are healthy and will go home this weekend.
