LOS ANGELES (CNN) - Selena Quintanilla was honored Friday with a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The late Tejano singer's sister, Suzette Quintanilla, unveiled the star outside of Capitol Records, where Selena once signed a contract with EMI Latin.
Selena was a Grammy-award-winning artist.
The 23-year-old was headed for crossover success with her first English-language album when she was shot and killed by the president of her fan club in 1995.
