(CNN) - Could Sean 'Diddy' Combs soon own an NFL team?
He wants to give it a shot.
The producer and entrepreneur tweeted he wants to buy the Carolina Panthers.
He also posted an Instagram video explaining why he would be the best NFL owner.
This comes after the current Panthers owner, Jerry Richardson, announced plans to sell the team at the end of this season.
Richardson is facing allegations of workplace misconduct. A Sports Illustrated article reports the Panthers reached financial settlements with at least four employees regarding Richardson’s inappropriate behavior in the workplace.

Diddy says if he gets the team, he will immediately hire Colin Kaepernick as quarterback.
Diddy has plenty of support, including from NBA star Steph Curry, who tweeted he 'wants in' on the plan.
