ALBUQUERQUE, NM (KRQE/CNN) – Video shows police freeing a man in New Mexico who was nailed to a tree.
A city worker discovered the man, identified as Jose Duran, in a row of trees. He was nailed to a tree, conscious, slumping, and groaning in pain.
The crime took place in May after Duran says he was involved in an ugly real estate deal, KRQE reports.
No arrests have been made in the case, and officials do not think the episode is related to a drug cartel.
Several first responders took part in getting Duran free from the large tree.
