(CNN) - Here's something that every parent of a college student knows: college is getting more expensive.
The College Board's annual report found the price of a college education rose faster than inflation again.
According to the report, the average annual tuition cost rose by $300 at public four-year colleges - and that's just for in-state students.
Private colleges saw an annual increase of 800-dollars.
While this can drive up the cost for families paying tuition at full price, a majority of students receive some financial aid.
