GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WXMI/CNN) - A fallen soldier was welcomed home on Tuesday. The body of Sgt. Terrence Hinton arrived in Grand Rapids.
Hinton joined the Army in 2009, and had deployments in Afghanistan and Kuwait. He died earlier this month in a training exercise in Hawaii when a truck he was in spun out of control and roller over, WXMI reports.
Dozens of Patriot Guard Riders escorted Hinton's body from the airport to the funeral home.
Hinton leaves behind a 5-year-old daughter.
