ALTADENA, CA (CNN) - The Altadena Mountain Rescue team saved a dog stuff on a cliff in Altadena, CA.
A hiker said her dog lunged at something while walking along a trail, causing her to fall off the side of the Las Flores Canyon.
A rescuer was lowered from the top of the canyon, put the dog in a harness and safely lowered the pooch to the canyon bottom.
The dog, a 9-month-old Husky mix named Maya, was unhurt and returned to her owner.
