CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (WVIR/CNN) - Chaos erupted at Monday night's meeting of the Charlottesville, VA, city council. It was the council's first meeting since the deadly protests on Aug. 12.
Protesters interrupted the meeting several times, and some carried a large banner with the words "blood on your hands." Some shouted "resign! resign!"
Police moved in and removed some of the protesters.
The meeting eventually began again. Three people were arrested, WVIR said.
