LOS ANGELES (KCAL/KCBS/CNN) -  A phoned-in bomb threat disrupted a rock concert in Los Angeles on Wednesday night. The threat was made during a Dead and Company show in the Hollywood Bowl arena.

The band includes John Mayer and former members of the Grateful Dead.

Security officials stopped the show in the middle of a song and searched the area, but found nothing.

One member of the audience said people didn't really know what was going on. "In the middle of the show, it's all rocking out, all of the sudden the show stage cleared away, you can feel everybody reacted to it but, you know, we didn't really know exactly, we thought maybe it was Deadheads' dogs running across, we didn't realize it was bomb-sniffing dogs,” a man said.

The show later resumed. Security has been on high alert because of the recent suicide bombing after an Ariana Grande show in Manchester, England.
