RENTON, WA (CNN/KOMO) - A bear was a little too close for comfort to a school on Wednesday in Washington state.
The bear was spotted on Wednesday high in a tree about a block away from an elementary school in Renton.
Officials with the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife were called in. At last check, they were preparing to try to get the bear down.
The animal is not on school grounds, but it's close enough that students were being kept inside as a precaution.
