(CNN) - Puerto Rico's governor shared photos of the first baby born on the USNS Comfort since 2010.

Sara Victoria Lull Rodriguiz was born on Saturday. She weighed in at six pounds, eight ounces.

The ship is providing medical assistance for a region devastated by Hurricane Maria. Gov. Ricardo Rossello said the child was the first Puerto Rican baby born on the ship. Comfort arrived in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Oct. 3. Comfort is helping support relief operations after deadly Hurricane Maria hit the island.

The English translation of the governor's Facebook message is: Meeting Sara Victoria the first Puerto Rican girl born in the #usnscomfort U.S. Navy. God bless you!
