(CNN) - A guitar once owned by superstar Prince fetched a whopping $700,000 at auction.
If you recognize the iconic blue cloud guitar, that's because the legendary performer used it on stage in the late 80s and early 90s. He also posed with it for photo shoots and played it in the studio.
The guitar comes with a letter of authenticity from its maker Andy Beech that says he built it for Prince.
Prince originally donated the guitar to an auction in 1994 to benefit Los Angeles earthquake relief.
