GLEN JEAN, WV (POOL/CNN) - President Trump addressed the Boy Scouts of America 2017 National Scout Jamboree in Glen Jean, West Virginia Monday.
Trump said ten of his cabinet members were Boy Scouts, and three joined him on stage, including health and human services secretary Tom Price.
When Price came out, Trump took the opportunity to mention him and the impending vote in the Senate that could mean the repeal of the Affordable Care Act.
"Dr. Price still lives the scout honor, helping to keep millions of Americans strong and healthy as our Secretary of Health and Human Services,” Trump said.
“Hopefully he's going to get the votes tomorrow to start our path toward killing this horrible thing known as Obamacare that's really hurting us.”
Seven of eleven sitting presidents, including George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton, have attended the annual scout event, according to the organization.
Trump made a point of noting Obama had never attended a jamboree.
