BEDMINSTER, NJ (CNN) - Kristen Piatowski and Tucker Gladhill chose President Donald Trump's golf course in New Jersey as their wedding venue, but a visit from the president himself wasn't in their plans.
Trump spent the weekend at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, NJ, about 40 miles west of New York City, and while there, made a surprise appearance at a wedding reception.
The wedding party clapped, cheered and chanted "USA" while the president shook hands and posed for pictures.
The bride hugged the president and he kissed her on the cheek.
Trump is not related to the couple, and they did not know he would be appearing.
But, according to Politico reporter Ken Vogel, the club advertises a potential Trump appearance for wedding held at the facility.
From the @TrumpBedminster marketing brochure: “If he is on-site for your big day, he will likely stop in & congratulate the happy couple." https://t.co/y2sgut3Qr5

This is not the first time Trump has dropped by a wedding as president. In February he appeared at the wedding of a campaign donor's son while at Mar-a-Lago.
