JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (WTXL/RNN) - Authorities are searching for a missing Jacksonville woman and her five children, after they went missing on Sunday.

According to reports, the woman threatened to take her own life.

Reports say the woman was "depressed and suicidal" after recently becoming homeless and was unsure of where she was going to stay.

Jacksonville police are hoping to find out if 29-year-old Kimber Clark and her five children are safe.

They say Clark and her children could be anywhere, and ask for the public's help in locating the family.

Police said the family was last seen in the Merrill Road area in Jacksonville, Florida.

Anyone who has any information is asked to contact the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at 904-630-0500 or email them at JSOCrimeTips@jaxsheriff.org.
