Valdosta Police's therapy dog is ready to go to school!
Hope, the VPD's comfort dog, and her handler Carla Jones, will work at WG Nunn Elementary School.
She had her school picture taken this week.
Hope was a rescue dog before she joined the VPD's Comfort Dog Program. The program is designed to help people by providing emotional support.
The Therapy Dog Team will help students and staff. They will work as a calming tool to provide emotional support at the school.
