DENVER (KDVR/CNN) - Dozens of rowdy teens invaded a home while it was for sale, and the owners were out for dinner. The results was thousands of dollars of damage to the home, and a party that the owners and youth will never forget.
“Beer cans, liquor, wine bottles…as far as we are concerned, everyone who was here broke into our home,” said Mike Cox, who was out to dinner with his family. “I would guess 200-plus kids.”
He says beer and other alcohol was on everything, including the walls. “You can’t believe how much damage they did in two hours,” Cox said.
The floors were still sticky he said, and the teens captured much of the event on Snapchat.
The faces may help officials round up the suspects. “They did it and we are going to hold them accountable,” Cox said.
