WATERBORO, ME (WGME/CNN) - A man wearing a creepy clown mask and carrying a machete was arrested in Maine on Tuesday after walking along the roadside.
Corey Berry, 31, has been charged with criminal threatening. He avoided officers after reports came in to authorities about the man’s appearance.
He has posted a $200 bail. The machete was taped to the man’s amputated arm, officials said.
Berry was reportedly intoxicated and told officers that he was copying other creepy clown incidents, WGME said, citing officers.
