TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - A police officer was caught on camera shaving a homeless man's beard so he could get a job.
The Tallahassee Police Department posted on their Facebook page about the great work of the officer and shared a picture and video from the resident who shared the information.
The post says Officer Tony Carlson was in McDonald's when a homeless man walked in to apply for a job. The man was told they wouldn't hire him because of his beard.
Officer Carlson stepped in with some clippers and shaved the man's beard for him, right outside the gas station next door.
A passerby caught the whole thing on video and shared it on social media.
"We’re not barbers but we do specialize in helping people," wrote the department on Twitter.
It is not yet known if the man got the job.
