(CNN) - Open enrollment for Obamacare starts Wednesday at healthcare.gov.

According to a recent report from the Department of Health and Human Services, 80 percent of Americans can get a 2018 plan for less than $75 per month.

Last year, 71 percent of enrollees could find that rate.

In addition, rising premium subsidies will make many plans on the exchanges more affordable. You can preview prices before you log in.

Open enrollment runs through Dec. 15 in most U.S. states.

Despite calls to appeal the law by President Donald Trump and efforts to dismantle the law by a Republican-controlled Congress, Obamacare survives.

The latest effort to repeal Obamacare, Graham-Cassidy, didn't have enough support to come to the Senate floor for a vote.

Former President Barack Obama released a video Wednesday morning promoting healthcare signups.
