TASHKENT, UZBEKISTAN (CNN) – A poster near an apartment where New York terror suspect Sayfullo Saipov's family reportedly used to live in the Uzbek capital shares how to move to the U.S.

The poster reads: “Green card Win the green card lottery and get residency in America! We fill in [the application] officially and correctly according to the immigration service of the United States! Our address is Chilanzar, Katartal, just before the sports shop on the left hand side.”

The suspect was shot and wounded by police at the scene after killing eight people. Sources say he came to the U.S. from Uzbekistan in 2010.

They say he has lived in various U.S. cities, and recently worked in New Jersey as an Uber driver. Several more people were injured in the attack along a bike path.
