(CNN) - Opening weekend for Kevin Spacey's latest film 'Billionaire Boys Club' really bombed in theaters this weekend.

It brought in just $126 on Friday.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, that's a record breaking low.

The film was only released in eight theaters.

The movie was filmed before Spacey's sexual misconduct scandal.

At the end of last year more than 20 people accused the 59-year-old Oscar winner of inappropriate behavior, sexual harassment, and assault.

Distribution company Vertical Entertainment released a statement in June about its decision to release the film:

"This is neither an easy nor insensitive decision to release this film in theaters, but we believe in giving the cast, as well as hundreds of crew members who worked hard on the film, the chance to see their final product reach audiences."
