PALM CITY, FL - An Episcopal priest driving a red Corvette was arrested in Martin County, FL, after police said he pointed a pistol at people in another vehicle in a suspected incident of road rage.
William Rian Adams, 35, who listed his occupation as the rector at a church in Fletcher, NC, was charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, TC Palm reported.
A motorist driving a Chevrolet Silverado pickup said he was traveling north on the Florida Turnpike when the Corvette pulled in front of him and kept putting on the brakes. When he tried to pass, police said Adams pulled a handgun and aimed it at the truck.
Florida Highway Patrol arrested him a few miles down the road.
