(CNN/WVTF) - California, New York and everywhere in between have opened "cat cafes" where every cup of coffee comes with a side of kitty cuddles.
Nashville's pop-up version was only open a few days, but the name was something to groan about - in the best way possible.
Mewsic Kitty Cafe, in the capital of country music, offered an actual adoptable cat with you order of chai latte, cappucino or cafe au lait.
The opening was a success - thee were five adoptions in just a few days. One of the first to go, the charming Siamese mix known as "Kitty Wells," named for the singer known as "The Queen of Country Music," and the voice that made "It wasn't God who made Honky Tonk Angels" a classic.
The trial opening was apparently a success - the owners say they hope to open permanently by this time next year.
Here's hoping it CATches on.
