OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (KFOR/CNN) - Police are investigating after a naked man was found fatally stabbed.
"We just have a bunch of blood, and it looks like there was an altercation inside the house," Lt. Ron Northcutt said.
Police said the altercation then led to the porch. Around 7:30 a.m. Sunday, a woman delivering newspapers found the man on the porch, naked and bleeding.
"The male was covered in blood. Officers originally thought he'd been shot," Northcutt said.
As it turns out, he had been stabbed multiple times. He was taken to the hospital where he died, but details are sketchy.
"We don't have much information at this point. We don`t even have an identification on the man yet," Northcutt said.
Police also haven't released information on a suspect.
People in the neighborhood said they woke up to a nightmare. The crime scene unit took evidence from the home, leaving neighbors in disbelief.
"'Granny, it's a yellow tape all around the house.' I said, 'Rancy, somebody's dead,'" Joyce Thompson said.
Neighbors said a family with children recently moved into the home, and whatever happened is simply tragic.
"It makes me feel sad that they're still doing that and killing people and just doing anything. It makes me feel bad," Thompson said.
