PLYMOUTH, MI (WXYZ/CNN) - A Halloween display featuring naked dolls bound and hung has neighbors thinking it crossed the line from being spooky to disturbing.

The yard is packed with gravestones, witches, ghosts, skulls and life-sized zombies, but it takes a back seat to a number of dolls hanging from a tree with their mouths and feet wrapped in duct tape.

Neighbor Marilyn Yoe said she likes Halloween decorations, but her neighbor's display went too far for her liking.

"I think they're cute when they're spooky, but I don't like hers," Yoe said. "My grandkids say why would you hang babies in a tree? That's no Halloween."

Yoe is not alone. Other people who live in the area question the display and whether it is appropriate for public exhibition.

"I think it's disgusting," KC Gibson said. "You see all the ghosts and jack-o'-lanterns on people's porches and then dolls representing little kids being hung from a tree, and that's not what Halloween is about."

Plymouth police received multiple calls from people complaining about the display, but it doesn't break any laws.

But despite not liking the display, Yoe said she is OK with the neighbor leaving it up.

"She can put anything in her yard she wants," Yoe said. "It's her house. If I don't like it, I don't have to look at it. I think she's a nice neighbor. I just don't choose to like her decoration."

The family who lives in the house is on vacation to Disney World, and the dolls were taken down by a relative.
