(CNN) - How cool is this?

NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory captured a partial solar eclipse.

The moon passed in front of the sun on May 25. It covered about 89 percent of the sun at the peak of the eclipse.

In August there will be a total solar eclipse where the moon will completely block the sun.

It should be visible on a line stretching from Oregon to South Carolina.
