MEXICO CITY (AVN/KBS) - Mexico has ousted the North Korean ambassador to the country, Kim Hyong-Gil. This comes in response to last week's nuclear test.
North Korea claims to have successfully tested a hydrogen bomb, the most powerful weapon it has tested to date. On Sunday, Korean Central News Agency aired a video of a gala hosted by leader Kim Jong-Un for nuclear scientists.
North Korea’s chief diplomat on Sunday criticized both the Mexican government and international sanctions that have been slapped on the Kim regime.
"Mexico took an ignorant measure to declare an ambassador of a revolutionary regime from an independent country as persona non grata,” said Kim Hyong-gil, North Korean ambassador to Mexico. "I condemned and totally rejected the U.N. Security Council's sanctions resolution as an infringement on our independence."
