PLAYA DEL CARMEN, MEXICO (CNN) – Authorities in Mexico said at least 18 people were injured in a ferry explosion Wednesday.
According to officials, all of those hurt in the incident have been hospitalized.
In addition to first responders, the Mexican army and navy have responded to the scene.
It’s not yet clear what caused the explosion.
