CARBONDALE, IL (WGN/CNN) - It's not often we see television reporters lose their composure on air.
But for one meteorologist, Monday's eclipse is what did it.
For the first time in his life, meteorologist Tom Skilling watched a total solar eclipse.
"We've been told people start sobbing. For some it's just a life-changing event. And we may start doing that too,” Skilling said.
After this segment aired, Tom Skilling's name started trending on Twitter.
Many people commended him for his honest reaction.
