(CNN) - Wall Street has been seeing green over McDonald's golden arches.
Shares of McDonald's are up nearly 27 percent this year, and its stock price hit an all-time high Wednesday.
This makes the company the second-best performer on the DOW Jones this year, trailing only Boeing.
McDonald's has seen its fortunes improve for the better since Steve Easterbrook became its CEO more than two years ago.
During his tenure, McDonald's has unveiled new menu options, such as breakfast served all day and fresh ingredients in place of frozen ones.
McDonald's has also joined forces with food delivery service UberEATS.
