COLUMBUS, OH (WBNS/CNN) - The newest, and most popular, addition to the Ohio State University marching band is a 2-year-old.
Nolan Rowe and his plastic trumpet got instant fame when his mother posted a video of him marching to the band's music on Facebook.
The band took notice and invited him to join them at a pep rally Saturday before the Buckeyes' game against Penn State.
"The first time I posted it, I thought a few family members would like it," Kate Martin, Rowe's mother, said. "Got a smile from it, and it just kept going and going, and now it has over 2 million views."
Nolan still has plenty of time to hone his craft before joining the band for real. He will be old enough to try out in 2033.
