(RNN) – The Trump presidency typically dominates a news cycle.

What the president says and does, and how the world reacts, can be an awful lot to keep up with.

To help you keep track of it all, here’s the biggest Trump news of the day:

Trump will meet Kim Jong Un: The president teased a big announcement earlier in the day – and he more than delivered by the evening, informing the nation that he will soon meet face-to-face with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to discuss the denuclearization of the dictator's rogue regime.

Trump unswayed by warnings on tariffs: The president went ahead Thursday and ordered steep new tariffs on steel and aluminum imported to the U.S., despite grim warnings from business leaders and top GOP officials.

Former Trump campaign chairman pleads not guilty: Paul Manafort, the president’s former campaign chairman, appeared in court Thursday. He pleaded not guilty to multiple charges of tax evasion and money laundering related to his time advising pro-Russia politicians in Ukraine. Manafort was indicted as part of special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation.

Lawmaker wants to question businessman in Mueller probe: In other Mueller news, the top Democrat on the House intelligence committee – Rep. Adam Schiff of California – said on Thursday that he wants to question George Nader, a Lebanese-American businessman who is cooperating with special counsel Mueller.

Video games and guns: The president met at the White House with opposing sides of the old debate on whether violent video games cause real-world aggression. Trump met with video game industry representatives and some vocal industry critics to discuss what role violent games play in tragedies like the recent mass shooting in Parkland, FL.
