JAVA, Indonesia (CNN) - A church attack in Java left five men injured.
Some of the victims were wounded by a meter-long sword. An attacker went on a stabbing spree during morning mass Sunday.
According to CNN Indonesia who spoke to witnesses at the scene, the five victims include Romo Pier, the pastor of the church.
They were mid-prayer at Santa Ludwina Church when the attacker fought his way in and started to attack.
Church security did try to prevent the man from entering the church, but the attack was not quelled until police fired on the perpetrator.
