RICE CO, MN (WCCO/CNN) - A Minnesota man is accused of faking cancer and then spending thousands of dollars in donations on weed and video games.
The county attorney says because Jeremiah Smith has no criminal history, he will likely get probation, not prison time. He received more than $20,000 in contributions.
Smith is scheduled to make a court appearance in early November.
