(CNN) – Police say a man arrested near the White House Sunday morning had nine guns and three knives in his car.
The suspect was initially stopped for allegedly urinating in public, according to the incident report.
In his car, officers found brass knuckles, suppressors and various types of ammunition in addition to the nine guns and three knives.
The man told Secret Service he was going to the White House to speak with Defense Secretary James Mattis and National Security Agency Director Mike Rogers. He said he wanted “advice on missing paychecks and how to get the chip out of my head.”
The suspect was taken to a facility for mental observation then to a police station. He faces charges of multiple weapons violations.
