MONROE COUNTY, FL (CNN) - A man in south Florida is facing drug trafficking charges after authorities say he hid a large amount of cocaine inside a Cookie Monster doll.

Authorities say a deputy stopped Camus McNair in Marathon this week because of a dark window tint and an obscured license plate.

When McNair rolled down his window, the deputy said he could smell marijuana.

The deputy searched the car, where he found Cookie Monster inside a backpack.

A slit was cut in the doll, and inside the doll was more than 300 grams of cocaine.

McNair is charged with cocaine trafficking.
