RIVERSIDE, CA (KABC/CNN) - An 18-year-old man has confessed to abusing dozens of children.
Joseph Boston was turned in to the authorities by his mother at 3 a.m. Saturday.
Police said the most recent incident happened this weekend when two boys aged 4 and 8 went to Boston's hotel room.
Shortly after the incident, Boston told his mother what he did.
"Somehow he was able to, you know, befriend them enough to allow the kids to come into his room for a while at which he committed the acts of molestation." said officer Ryan Railsback of Riverside Police. "He was very open and honest about he had done last night but also what he's been doing since, he said, since the age of 10. He said 50 to 60 kids that he has molested."
Boston is being held at the Robert Presley Detention Center with bail set at $1 million.
Authorities took custody of the children he molested at the hotle.
