(CNN) - Hollywood is mourning the loss of actor David Ogden Stiers.
His agent said Stiers died at his Oregon home after battling bladder cancer.
Stiers is probably best known for playing Major Charles Emerson Winchester the third on TV's “M*A*S*H,” joining the show in 1977. He earned two Emmy nominations for his work on the series.
On the big screen, Stiers was a prolific Disney voice actor, playing Cogsworth the clock in 1991's "Beauty and the Beast" and Governor Ratcliffe in "Pocahontas.”
He also dabbled in music, serving as resident conductor of Oregon’s Newport Symphony and guest conducting dozens of orchestras worldwide.
David Ogden Stiers was 75.
