CHICAGO (RNN/CNN) - The University of Illinois and its police department say abduction suspect Brendt Christensen attended a vigil for missing student Yingying Zhang, the victim in the case.
Christensen appears in a photo taken at the vigil Thursday provided by CNN. A man resembling Christensen is also in photos that appeared on Reddit and were posted to Twitter. Christensen appears to be the tall, bearded man wearing black.

Chicago TV station WCIA posted video of what appears to be Christensen's back as he walked at the memorial with his arm around a woman, who is also seen in some of the tweeted photos.
Zhang was last seen three weeks ago getting into a car. Leads based on that car led FBI agents to search Christensen’s home, car and computer. Authorities say Christensen searched the internet for information on how to kidnap people.
Investigators say they have reason to believe Zhang is no longer alive.
Christensen was in court Monday but did not offer a plea. He will be held in custody of the US Marshal Service pending a hearing on Wednesday to determine if he could be released on bond. A preliminary hearing is also scheduled for July 4.
