(CNN) - Kathy Griffin has a powerful new look.
The comedian shaved off all of her hair to support her sister who is battling cancer.
Writer Yashar Ali tweeted the photo Monday, saying Griffin's sister Kathleen is now going through chemotherapy.

Ali also suggested donating to the American Cancer Society.
Griffin is one of five children in her family.
In 2014, her brother Gary died of cancer.
